There are approximately thirty math questions on the Hunter entrance exam, and each question is in multiple choice format. Students are not allowed to have a calculator for the exam. There is no guessing penalty, so test-takers should put down an answer for every problem, even if they’re not sure of the solution.

In order for children to join the Hunter College High School community, they must achieve top scores on the Hunter entrance exam. However, not just any student gets to sit for this test.
