John Hopkins Center for Talented Youth: How To Get InFounded in 1979 by Julian Stanley, the Center for Talented Youth (CTY) is an extension of John Hopkins University. It was initially established to determine the rates at which gifted children can learn and is one of the first US programs to provide those children with a specific set of opportunities. Only students who qualify are eligible for CTY programs.
